MBSR Instructor - Dr. Siobhán Gibbons
Dr. Siobhán Gibbons has been teaching mindfulness meditation workshops since 2008. She is a licensed psychologist, and a certified MBSR instructor with a BA in Social Work, an MA in Sociology from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, and a Doctorate in Education from Rutgers University, NJ. She is also a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher and a qualified Curvy Yoga and Yoga for All teacher. She strongly believes in making mindfulness meditation movement and stillness practices accessible to all whether you are dealing with chronic stress or anxiety, chronic pain or medical conditions, or traumatic brain injury. These mindfulness practices are available to you at all times – at work, at home, when alone or with others. And they are available in all locations. She has taught mindfulness meditation in all kinds of places: libraries, schools, parks, parking lots, sidewalks, stairwells, cafeterias – wherever people happen to be. She believes you have everything you need right now to learn and gain the benefit of these mindfulness meditation practices.
